Norteño/Tex-Mex band Los Tigres del Norte have come under fire for the song 'Las Mujeres de Juárez' from their new album Pacto de Sangre. Women in Cd. Juárez are protesting to have the song banned from the radio as they don't want anyone making a profit from the gross human rights abuse in the city. |

It is with great pleasure to announce that over AU$5,500 was raised for Amigos de las Mujeres de Juarez in September 2004. Amigos de las Mujeres de Juarez is a non-profit organisation offering emotional and financial support to the families of serial-killing victims in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico including the groups Justicia para Nuestras Hijas, Nuestras Hijas de Regreso a Casa and Casa Amiga Rape and Crisis Center. |
