An LA based production company is organising a new play inspired by the femicide in Juarez called IPHIGENIA... A RAVE FABLE.
The play, IPHIGENIA... A RAVE FABLE, resets the classic Greek tradgedy in modern rave culture, on a border town inspried by Ciudad Juarez. In the play, these ghostly women appear to the main character and act as her guide to the rave -- they are the Women of Juarez. The production is scheduled to play in Los Angeles in late 2006.
